Here we have three interesting pieces...I am clearing out all my stamps and these are the last probably of my victorian bits......2 penny stars one with a nice Cork CDS and one with Belfast and Edinburgh CDSs...I am not able to plate these but they are both p.14 if that helps and I can't do wmks on stamps on piece...sorry...I would think they are in the 40s area rather than 24....the third piece is very interesting....a pair of shilling greens SG211 and a halfpenny orange....but with a Newmarket Grandstand cancel....now I bought this some years ago because I live near Newmarket and at the time was involved in the racing a bit but noone I have spoken to [local history society] can recall a post office at the grandstand which at the timw would have been near the top of the town rather than where they both are now....curious...also 2shillings and a halfpenny does not seem like a postal charge for the period but on the reverse there are the words 'fill in senders name'.....curiouser and curiouser...anyway there you have it low start no reserve item sent cert of post so no liability etc but will send by Special Delivery if requested.....uk bidders only sorry, no offence..its the postage thing...thanks I have added a third postal option ....................recorded I have done my best to identify these but no liability if I have got
