VICTORIAN Sterling SPOONS (10) Bright Cut Engraving This is an exquisite set of Victorian sterling silver spoons. The handles are embellished with a Bright Cut engraved scroll and leaf motif. (Bright cutting is a technique of engraving in which an angled, flat shallow cut is made creating a beautiful sparkle.) I am offering in this auction an exquisite set of 10 Sterling silver coffee spoons / Teaspoons that were an Estate Sale find. They are 5 5/8" in length and the used condition is excellent - no evidence of wear. The bowl is a unique and distinguishing feature - its fancy fluted bowl is gold washed and engraved. The handle back has a lovely old style script monogram of GHC interlocking. They are marked "Sterling" and "W. Moir" - presumably the original retailer. This set would delight any collector of fine antique sterling. BEST OF LUCK! Payment Credit Card Personal or company checks are accepted, but must clear the bank prior to shipment. All Payments are to be received within 10 days of the auction closing date. Shipping Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. All packages will ship via U.S. Priority Mail. Priority mail for the 1st pound is $4.55 with Delivery Confirmation, insurance is extra based on the final purchase price. Insurance is recommended on all packages and required on those over $50.
