All my auctions are true no reserve auctions that start at .99 cents, this one is for an old Victorian wash basin and pitcher made by Burroughs and Mountford of Trenton, New Jersey. You don't see much from this company as they were only in business for 3 years, from 1879 to 1882. This lovely set is very heavy weighing 11 pounds. The wash basin measures 15'' in diameter by 4 1/2'' tall and the pitcher is 10 3/4'' tall. Both are in excellent condition with age appropriate crazing. The basin has several spider lines on the bottom that don't show through and do not affect the structural integrity. Also t is some wear to the gold, especially on the handle of the pitcher. Neither piece has any chips or repairs. Don't miss your chance to own a scarce piece of American history!
