READ THE SHIPPING AND PICK UP INFO.....This is a NO RESERVE auction for an *antique Victorian style Duncan Phyfe sofa*. This couch has no funny smells or odors. We think this piece dates to the 1940's. Have a look at the photos w I will describe it further. MEASUREMENTS: 80 1/2" long, 31" deep from w it touches the wall to the front of the seat. The back is 32" from the floor. The seat is 20" from the floor. 's a view of the carved back. We believe the frame to be crafted from solid mahogany but we're not 100% sure. It does have a beautiful patina. 's a close up of the Victorian style carving found across the top of the back rail. 's a couple views of the left and right seat and back areas. Please note that the fabric is soiled and t is a rip on the right side of the back. T are no funny smells or odors and the cushions are still supple. The back has a slight wiggle but that can be addressed when replacing the fabric. It truly is slight. 's a photo of the right and left arms. 's a view of the back. Notice t is a spring poking out on the left side. Once again this can be addressed when the fabric is off. 's a view of the skirt. 's a close view of the left foot. The paw feet appear to be brass. And a look underneath. The springs are fine and the webbing is in fine condition. And a final view. Be sure and check back as we have purchased the contents of an upholstery shop that has been closed for 10 years. This sofa was part of that purchase. YOU MUST PICK YOUR ITEM UP WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. A $5 A DAY STORAGE FEE WILL APPLY TO ANY ITEMS NOT PICKED UP WITHIN THE SPECIFIED TIME. We regret that we must charge for storage but we no longer have the space to store items for free after the 30 day period. All Pa. residents will be required to pay the 6% Pa. sales tax regardless if your item is shipped or picked up. ANYONE picking up their own items will be required to pay the 6% sales tax unless you have a copy of your resale number with you. Although we are very busy we will do our best to accomadate your schedule but WE PREFER PICK UPS ON SUNDAYS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10 AND 5 IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. We will need a 48 hour notice before any items can be picked up. T will be someone to assist with the loading. Please be sure and bring any ropes, packing material, etc. with you. If the sales tax was not included on the invoice, be sure and bring enough cash with you to cover the cost. We do not accept credit cards or personal/business checks for any payments when item is to be picked up. Our zip is 17321. ***********************SHIPPING INFO********************************* We ship for less than you might think. Shipping costs for this item will run between $100 and $350 in most cases depending on how far you are from zip 17321. In some cases we can provide you with a quote. You may have to contact the shipper directly yourself. It depends on which shipper/w you live. Obviously the shipping cost will run higher than $350 if you live out west far from major cities/highways. BE SURE AND GET A QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING. You are entering into a binding contract and shipping costs must be considered. We will gladly work with a shipper of your choice. The shippers we use are private contractors and NOT our employees so cost and ship times are beyond our control. In some instances you will be required to pay shipping costs up front before your item arrives while other times you will be required to pay the shipper cash upon delivery. Sometimes the shipper will require a down payment with the balance due at the time of delivery. Once again it depends upon which shipper is used. No checks will be accepted if paying when ...
