Selling with NO RESERVE is this killer *fainting couch* or *chaise*. The frame is crafted from choice solid mahogany and shows a nice finish and a deep, rich red brown color. Done in a *Victorian* style, this piece has very strong high style with its graceful curves and upswept arms. Nothing is loose, fabric is flawless, came from a pet and smoke free home so no funny smells or odors, needs nothing except a new owner. This is a contemporary piece. The original owners stated they bought it new 10 or so years ago. They had it placed in one of those never used rooms in their home so it was rarely if ever sat on. Have a look at the photos w I will describe it further. MEASUREMENTS: 88" long, 40 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the back and 27" deep. No springs pushing through and the dust cover is clean. We love the superb design of this fainting couch. The graceful curves start with the back and continue comepltely through, right down to the feet. The color is off in this view. Detail of the carving on the back. Some views of the arms of this fainting couch. The arm on the right is taller than the arm on the left. Right arm is 40" high and left arm is 32" high. is the skirt area. It is fluted meaning t are horizontal grooves cut adding to the appearance. A view of the Victorian style carving found on the center of the skirt area of this fainting couch. The only flaw, if you can call it that, are some minor chips along the outer edge of some of the feet. The worst is shown. Looks like it may ahve been factory as the color blends in well. ANYONE PICKING UP THEIR OWN ITEM WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE PA. 6% SALES TAX UNLESS YOU ARE A DEALER AND CAN PRESENT A COPY OF YOUR RESALE CERTIFICATE. Anyone picking up their own item must do so within 30 days or a $5 a day storage fee will apply. Once again, this fee applies to those who are picking up their item and will NOT apply to those who are having their item shipped. We charge actual shipping costs so you pay us for the auction/invoiced amount ONLY and pay the shipper directly when your item is delivered. In some instances you may be required to pay the shipping costs up front. The shippers that we supply are NOT our employees but are private haulers who offer a blanket wrap service only. Due to the large volume of items that we ship, we offer CUSTOM SHIPPING WITH FREIGHT RATES. That means delivery right to your door and no pick up at a terminal. We do not pack or crate any items for shipping. We will be glad to work with a shiupper of your choosinmg so long as they come to our location for pick up. Shipping costs for this item is estimated at between $100 and $450. BY ALL MEANS GET A SHIPPING QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING!!! Not getting a quote first is no excuse to back out of a transaction. The shipper we use for our western deliveries has a full truck for the next run is full so, if you wish to use our shipper, delivery wouldn't be until May.
