It has it's original finish and some fancy original decal work on the lid. The case shows a few minor rubs and scratches and t but should clean up nicely. It measures 13 1/2" square and 7" high. It winds and plays well and has a nice sound. It has a double comb for playing the tunes and shows no broken,damaged or repaired teeth. The 23 included discs all show varying degrees of surface corrosion. The measure 10 1/2" across.
