Original Late Victorian Tiled Cast Iron Combination Fireplace. The fireplace comes complete with original Tiles, Cast Iron Back, Firebrick, Front Bar and Shelf. There are some marking on the back, the name Etna and what I believe to be some sizes, please see photographs. It is in excellent condition, although the tiles show some crazing to the glaze, typical to a fireplace tiles of this age. The cast iron has been shot blasted to remove all paint and rust. The tiles were removed prior to shot blasting and then cleaned (there is some damage to the corners of the tiles but this is very difficult to see once the tiles are fitted). The tiled do need to be fixed permanently into position before the fireplace is installed (this does give you the opportunity to easily fit different tiles of your choice if you choose to do so. To finish off the fireplace it was primed and graphite polished to bring it back to its former glory. The fireplace stands 46.5 inches high, has a 44 inch shelf and 35 inch body and would suit any Living Room or Bedroom. Gas fire to suit can be supplied as well as slate or granite hearths, please enquire. Carriage within the M25 is £30 (Congestion Charge Extra). Carriage elsewhere in the UK at cost. Please enquire into cost of delivery prior to bidding.
