LOVELY VICTORIAN FLUTED VASELINE GLASS VASE EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH EXQUISIT ENAMEL FLORALS How to begin with this...this is just magnificent! This is a victorian vaseline vase in perfect condition. Very hard to come by. This is a hand blown quilt pattern design with elongated neck and fluted top. What makes this piece so desireable is the ribbon design around the neck and the gorgeous enamel flowers. They are just precious!! This vase has real presence in a room, and stands out wonderfully on a side table in a livingroom or sitting room. It stands at 12 inches in height, very tall, and about 5 inches in diameter at the base. My Aunt had this in her livingroom on an old colonial candle stand next to her desk. I do not think you will see many of these on ebay. We have only this one, and t are no cracks, chips or dings of any kind. It is in perfect condition. If you like vaseline glass or wish to own a 100 year old piece of glass art, this is a good find. Hope it goes to a nice home and to someone that loves antiques as my Aunt did. This glass vase came out of my Aunt's estate on Nantucket. My Aunt was a nurse in WW1 stationed in France and then spent years as an artist and antiquinarian traveling the world.
