This is a Superb Victorian Walnut Vanity Box that dates c.1890. The box is rectangular in form with a walnut carcass. The box has a perfectly hinged lid with central shaped brass cartouche which is NOT ENGRAVED. The box contains Seven Bottles of which five of these have silver plated tops. The two glass topped bottles have minor rim chips. In the interior lid there is a compartment for letters etc & a mirror. The box has a lower drawer which when opened reveals a well used satin pink interior . This box requires tlc to bring it back to its former glory. Measuring an impressive 30cm wide x 20cm deep x 18cm high & having a gross weight of 5kg (7kg packed). Simply Superb. Due to the weight of this item, NO International postage. UK ONLY
