Up for bids is this Victorian Quadruple Plates silver antique desk set. Its a fancy designed double dip pen ink well with double stamp holder in the center. this is made by and marked with a W inside a web, Quadruple plate, 82. This is Webster silver co that were in business in the late 1800's. Sorry the pics do not show the true beauty of this piece, the glare of the silver reflecting with the flash makes it difficult to see all the floral and scroll details on this piece. The inside is a goldwash, and has the original small glass inkwells. Measurements are 6" long, 2 1/2 inches high, by 2 1/4 " deep. has monogramm of original owner of" Ed W. Gould" in fancy script on lid. Excellent antique condition with no dents dings, or platewear, T is a chip on the rim of glass inkwells. Appearance is wonderful. Great addition to an antique desk.Guaranteed old and not a repro. Please ask all questions and concerns before bidding. Thanks
