FOR AUCTION*** .99 START NO RESERVE ***On offer is this Very RARE vintage Reuge Swiss Movement music box enameled with bronze d'ore fittings top of box features enamel decoration of two cherubs carrying floral wreaths whilst frolicking in the clouds bottom of instrument is in beautifully rendered (in faberge style) hammered substrate with red enameling and festooned with stars. The only mark we can find is on the Reuge movement of the music box. Inside is a pale salmon colored enameled interior. Movement and box are pristine and like new. Tune is 1st movement of Johanne Strauss' The Blue Danube Waltz. Superb and of the highest quality and condition. Please see our other fine boxes from this collection - all from Europe.
