Description An attractive and good quality Vienna figure of a lady playing a harpsichord which is emblematic of Sound and part of the Senses series. It is closely modelled after the Meissen original by Schonheit and dates to the late 19th century. Beautifully enamelled and detailed and with great expression in the hands. Please study the photographs, they form part of the description. Size Approx. 5" high (13 cm) Marks Impressed to base with the Vienna beehive mark, 845 and H, together with a blue painted mark which might be a crossed swords mark, and 14. painted in iron red. Condition Excellent condition, no cracks, crazing or repairs. Some damage to the lace of her cap. The tip of her right index finger is missing, but this is barely noticeable and there is no other damage. Payment PayPal accepted for all sales, also cheque or postal order from UK buyers only.
