You are bidding on: A Vietnam Era GI US Army M-1937 Cartridge Belt, Caliber .30 6-Pack and Vietnam M-1956 Suspenders OD #7, 6 Pockets, 120 Rounds • This is a genuine government issue, M-1937 Belt, Magazine, .30 Caliber, olive drab #7, designed as part of the infantryman's load carrying system, anchoring the M-1956 infantry pack. Six pockets for clips of .30-caliber ammunition for The (rhymes with CAR) Rifle, 120 rounds, one twenty shot clip per pocket. Clearly stenciled "US" and "74-B-240, Belt, Magazine _ _ _ , M-1937, JQMD-51" (Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot). • Included are government issue Suspenders (Load Bearing), Field Pack, Combat, M-1956, Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment, olive drab cotton webbing, used early in the Vietnam War until replaced by nylon webbing in 1967. They are stenciled "US" and "Suspenders, Field Pack, Combat, M-1956, DSA-10Q,4164, 2", "11" "R" "Height Under 6 1". • This webbing gear was used early in the Vietnam War until 1967 when new equipment was delivered to the troops in Vietnam, updated with nylon and other resistant materials to handle the jungle conditions. • The brass buckle, snaps and grommets and webbing are all in good shape, overall this gear is in excellent vintage condition.
