vietnam Era American Army Helmet with Original Art Vietnam Era American Army Helmet with Original Disney Character Art. This helmet was likely produced in the 1960's may have seen action in Vietnam, but its history is not certain. It has original artwork possibly done by a soldier at the time. The images pay tribute to the 95th Infantry Division and appear to be World War II in theme. They appear on two sides and feature Disney characters Goofy and Donald Duck. Goofy wears a helmet and is firing a rifle. Donald is burning enemy flags. The images are incredibly well done, and though faded with age, are instantly recognizable. Goofy stands astride the designation 9V, which also appears on Donald's arm patch. The helmet has a number of small dings, probably from time in service, but no major dents or holes. No liner, and insignia have been removed. Probably re-painted, perhaps more than once. Overall in very good condition. This is a unique piece of history.
