Up for bid is a Vietnam era LPA-2 USN Marine Life Preserver from an A6 Intruder Flyer- Lieutenant Colonel Paul Ice. As a US Marine Reservist he flew Intruders duringthe Vietnam war and after. This is was part of his flight gear. I sold the other items (His G suit and parachute harness) earlier. It doesn't have his name on it - so you will have to take my word on it. The Life Preserver is designed to be attached to the SV-2B Survival vest. It has two inflators. When activated it inflates bladders under each arm and the aviator's collar. This puppy looks good and it also has shows wear on the rings which says its been in the air a lot.
Condition - Very Good to excellent condition considering that it is 32 years old. Its a solid vest. The nylon looks good. Rubber bladders look good. It looks like someone dotted the back strap with some red spray paint. Inflators look intact. Rings and snap clips show normal wear. This is a real good one. If you have any specific questions regarding shipment to your location please contact me or click USPS.gov Thanks for your interest and good luck - Steve
