DESCRIPTION: Here we have Vietnam Era M1 Helmet. Liner band is dated 1967 with a Vietnam era sweat band and early Twill Mitchell Cover that is marked "100% Cotton". There is a rather curious peppering to the cover that looks like damage from fragments of splinters. Cover has some minimal graffiti on it - something about "Big Fat Ed" (if I remember correctly) lightly remains and does not detract from display. Condition is very good overall with the correct chin strap. T he whole rig displays very nicely - see photos. Included free to the winner (if wanted and requested - send me a note with payment) is the solid walnut custom helmet display stand. CONDITION: Very good.
