Vietnam War 352nd Tactical Fighter Squadron Flag TFS
352nd TFS Flag
A original flag from the 352nd Tactical Fighter Squadron. This flag came from the estate of Colonel Richard Newell who was with the 352 TFS in Vietnam. The flag not counting the tassles is about 13 1/2"x16 1/2". It has the 352nd patch, with the bee and the slogan Dum Spiro Pugno (While We Breath We Fight), on both sides. The flag is in great shape with one small dark smudge on the yellow circle on one side. The 352nd was based at Phan Rang Air Base in the Republic of Vietnam from October 10, 1966 to July 31, 1971 w they flew F-100 Super Sabre jets. Col Newell was a highly decorated officer of the Korean and Vietnam war with 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses. He was also a graduate of USMA West Point.
