You are bidding on a Aircrewman body armor vest from the Vietnam War era. Size REGULAR. This type of vest was typically worn by personnel in helicopters and some types of airplanes. Vest appears to be in unissued condition with some shelf wear. All snaps work. No corrosion or rust on metal buckles/snaps. Vest comes with a front ceramic plate. Crewmembers often sat in armored seats which negated the need for wearing a rear plate. The outer cloth vest and plate have 1970 and 1971 contract dates. This a great item for the Vietnam collector or re-enactor. This item is sold for collectible purposes only. No performance guarantee with this item.
