Here we have a rare find and that would be two US Military Vietnam War era [Dated 1965] " SURVIVAL, ESCAPE and EVASION KITS"...These are two different kits and are marked container 1 and container 2. Containers are made out of heavy clear plastic with a lid held on by the use of aluminum clips that slide on and off.Lid has a seal. Containers measure about 4 1/2 X 5 1/2 X 1 3/4 inch. I believe these containers were intended to be kept in the pilots survival vest and used if he went down. Each container has a list of contents. Please see my close up photos I took of this list to show you. Looks like ssome of the contents might be missing but you judge for yourself , I have taken clear photos of the contents of each container. Contents seem to be in at least good condition and no signs they were used etc. Some soiling from time and storage.. One small plastic bag of grey powder like substance has it's corner off and there has been some spilliage. not sure what it is The lid of container 1 has some very minor cracks in the center but minor and doesnt affect anything......Nice set of hard to find early Vietnam War Survival kits that I know you will like..Starting auction off low with no reserve and as always actual postage charged depending on where you live [weighs just over 2 lbs. boxed to ship]
