VINTAGE VIGORELLI E66 MAXI 8005 HEAVY DUTY SEWING MACHINE This is a very nicely cared for Rare, Vintage, Free-Arm, Top of the Line, Heavy Duty sewing machine! It just purrs and can sew through almost anything. Being made of all Heavy Cast Aluminum construction, the machine itself is comparably light in weight {just over 24 lbs} , yet as strong as a car engine block. In my opinion this machine is comparable to the Viking/Husqvarna 6000 Series in construction, looks, and functionality. Has a very strong {foot peddle controled} 2 speed motor, oscilating throat plate {shifts left to right as it sews} , front load bobbin, is lighted, has reverse, fold down handle for easy carrying, bobbin winder, measuring guide, thread cutter, varying stitch lengths and widths, easy front load/unload cam access, sews with special threads {elastic, thick & silk} , buttonholes, bastes, is twin needle 2 thread capable, and more with required attatchments. {Most attatchments are universal and do not need to be from same manufacturer} The machine shows little to no wear. Carrying case has a small crack on bottom edge that does not effect the cases usage, some age discoloration and smudges. All plastic parts show natural age discoloration. {Older hard plastic becomes discolored and brittle with age} The sewing extension plate is cracked on edges of fold out underside, but it works fine. The clear plastic boxes that hold sets of cams are cracked and broken in a couple of places, but the lids close and cams are still held inside securely.
