Two (2) Villeroy & Boch Dinner Plates - Acapulco Pattern Size: 10 3/8" The Acapulco pattern was inspired by Mexican art and is simply stunning. It was first introduced in the 1970s and then discontinued in the early 1990s. A new version of the pattern was reintroduced in the 1990s, but only lasted for a year. This pattern is lively and vibrant with a multitude of colors to match any dining room and table decor. Up for bid are 2 dinner plates (10 3/8" size). The plates are in excellent used conditions with no chips or cracks. They do have knife and fork marks in the center from normal use, but it does not detract from the beauty of the plates. One of the plates has very small marks on the rim - I believe they are also knife and fork marks and are barely noticeable. On the back of each plate is a dark brown stamp that says: Depuis 1748 - Villeroy & Boch - Ancienne Maufacture Imperiale et Royale - Luxembourg - Acapulco - Vitro Porcelaine - Nach mexikanischen Original - Zeichnungen - According to an original Mexican design - D'apres un dessin original mexicain. Both plates have very small rust-colored marks on the bottom near the stamp. I am not sure what caused these except wear or being stacked with other plates. Barely noticeable and by no means detracts from the use or beauty of the plates. Please ask me if you have any questions read more
