Villeroy and Boch Acapulco tile and trivet stand I have no idea if the stand is original to the piece; it is in a gold-effect base metal. The tile alone is 15x15 cm. Acapulco was designed by Christine Reuter and was inspired by paintings seen by Reuter on her holiday in Mexico. According to the Villeroy and Boch ceramics museum, the range was introduced in 1967 and discontinued permanently in 1994 with no subsequent reissues. This is the actual piece on my website retroselect /Villeroy%20and%20Boch/Villeroy%20and%20Boch.htm Mint and appears unused. I cant find any damage or chips or crazing and there are no scratches or wear to the pattern. There is one tiny paint skip on the pattern (on the tip of the tail feather of the purple bird) and a couple of faint sticky tape marks on the stand and also on the back of tile; I think these could be easily removed. Glaze skip in manufacture on one corner. Please : Full refund if you are unhappy.
