If you collect antique Villeroy and Boch or spongeware, you'll love this wonderful small tureen with sponged maroon flowers, teal green leaves and handpainted brown accents! The bowl of the tureen is attached to the base and is in beautiful condition. The base is slightly stained w the bowl meets the plate and is stained on the bottom rim. T is also a tiny flea bite and tight hairline on the plate section that aren't noticeable from the front but can be seen on the back (please check out the photos). In addition to the Villeroy & Boch Dresden Made in Germany mark, t is an impressed B and D and a green painted B. When I bought this tureen many years ago in Pennsylvania, I was told by the dealer that this style was made without a lid -- but, I'm not sure about that!! Dimensions: bowl = 6 3/8 inches diameter across handles, 4 1/4 inches at opening; plate = 7 inches diameter' height = 3 1/2 inches. Shipping & Payment: Payment is expected within 5 days from the end of the auction unless you contact me for alternative arrangements. Please also let me know if you'll be mailing your payment. If payment is not received within one week and/or if you fail to respond to emails and invoices, eBay will be notified of an unpaid item and negative feedback will be left. PLEASE work with me on payment so we can both be happy with our transaction! Insurance is optional but any damage or loss occuring during shipping will be at your own risk. T is a small handling charge to cover USPS delivery confirmation. Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases. If you have won multiple items, please wait until I can send you an invoice so I can combine the shipping costs. I will also accept personal checks if you have 100% positive feedback and at least 50 unique ratings. International bidders: payment is by PayPal only and shipping will be by USPS Airmail Letter Post. This is usually less expensive than Global Priority but takes 4 - 5 days longer depending on your country. T is a slight handling charge for the customs paperwork. If you would like the cheapest or fastest shipping rate, please let me know and I'll send you a new invoice. Returns: Please note that all pieces are sold AS IS and I'll accept returns if you feel the item does not match its description and photos. Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions or would like additional information or photos! Feedback: I strongly believe that eBay sellers should not hold their feedback hostage if their buyers have paid within 3 - 5 days and have kept their end of the bargain!
