is a wonderful collector set of 4 ~VILLEROY & BOCH~ plates featuring The Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, & Winter) by French artist, Gerard Laplau, Paris. These plates were purchased in Luxembourg, and are in Mint condition in their original boxes. They measure 9" across. On the backsides t are hooks for hanging, and in 3 different languages it says, "THE FOUR SEASONS"...This unique piece is one of a series of four collection plates painted exclusively by the French artist Gerard Laplau, Paris for Villeroy & Boch. He occupies a remarkable place among the contemporary naif painters." All the plates are in excellent condition. On the backsides of 2 of them t is a tiny manufacturer's "bump." I've taken a close-up photo of those. This is a gorgeous collectible set from ~VILLEROY & BOCH~ in Luxembourg. Shipping and Handling will be $8.50. All sales are final, so please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. I try and describe an item with 100% honesty so t will be no negative surprises when you open your package. Payment must be via PayPal, and must be received within 7 days of auction's end. I mail out on the same day payment is received, unless it's a weekend, a holiday, or the Post Office is closed.
