They have been respectfully stored in the same trunk which embarked on the voyage 70 plus years ago. 1) Canadian Legion Vimy Pilgrimage Post Pilgrimage Tours of Europe and London sightseeing Excursions revised edition. Thos. Cook & Son LTD ( official agents in charge of the land arrangements for the pilgrimage) 2) Canadian Memorial Vimy postcard pre-stamped with a French stamp. 3) French menu from the Pilgrimage to honor the Canadian Legion Canada sent to field more than one seventh of her male population, from every corner of the land men hurried to meet the call to arms! The loyalty and self sacrifice of these men is not only admirable, but humbling as well. As the time of year approaches us, let us once again recognize and honor the men who so freely gave of themselves... At half past 5 in the morning of Easter Monday, 9th April 1917, the Canadian attack opened with a deafening roar.
