Carved Figure Japanese Antique carved genuine ivory Geisha Girl with Parasol figure. The Parasol is a seperate piece as is the stick holding it, which goes into the Geisha's hand. This is carved from a single tusk! Beautiful Detail, Nice patina! Signed on the bottom in Red. Comes with Storage box. From my parent's extensive collection that they acquired when we lived in Japan from mid-50's-1972! Measures 8 1/8" with out Parasol and 9" with. Parasol is 3 1/8" Diameter. Parasol holder is 3 1/2" In Great condition! ebay has decided to institute a global ban on the sale of all types of ivory. This global ban will be effective January 1, 2009.
