This is an official RIAA Platinum Record with the official RIAA Hologram on the plaque. The award is in perfect condition and measures 21" x 17". (This item was purchased a while back by an ebayer and not paid for.) "Oklahoma Swing," Gill's duet with Reba McEntire, announced his return to a rootsier sound after leaving RCA. But it was the title cut, with Patty Loveless providing the harmonies, that soared highest from car radios and announced the arrival of a major star. * ** ** ** ** Gold and Platinum RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards are given out to the artist when the project reaches a certain sales plateau. The artist, management, and record company can also chose to give an award to people that had something significantly to do with the success of the project.
