A beautiful oil painting on canvas by the Laguna Beach, California, impressionist artist Vincent Farrell (1928 - 2008). In this painting, the listed artist depicts a wooden structure, perhaps a farm house or barn, surrounded by the remains of a broken fence and wagon wheel and a singular tree over seeing the property. Signed "Vincent Farrell" in lower right. His business card is attached to the reverse. Probably painted in the 1960s given the telephone number has no area code. Prominent colors are blues, browns and pinks. A nice early example of this talented artist's work.The image is approximately 20" by 24", though some is obstructed by the inner liner. The framed dimensions are approximately 28 inches by 32 inches. Very modest brown wood frame with an inner cloth liner. I suspect the frame is original to the piece and it does have some dings, scuffs and light scratches consistent with its age.A quality painting.
