A Stunning, Large Vintage Oriental Jade Tree in Cloisonne Planter. The Flower Petals are CARNELIAN carved in a very simple tear-drop shape. T are four and five petals to each flower. The flower centers are actual glass beads in a bright yellow; t are 5 to 7 of them wired into the center of each flower. T are also many droplet-shaped buds, also in CARNELIAN. The leaves are AVENTURINE carved with serrated edges and fine veins incised on their top surface. The planter is CLOISONNE with a black background and an overall design of fine wire clouds. The flowers appear to be chrysanthemums in yellow and a pale rose with bright green leaves. T is a small bluebird on the back. The planter an unusual shape and is in perfect condition with no dings or dents. The tree stands 14 inches tall including the planter, and about the same in width. It is rooted in multi-solored stone chips. The tree is in great condition as far as the stone is concerned. I found only one leaf that is missing a piece of the tip. The branches are wrapped in moss green silk which is in perfect condition, and the lower portion is covered in bark-like material. It is this the bark that has suffered some damage.
