This auction is for 4 vintage postcards. All feature the Laurel Line and one is actually from the Laurel Line. The Laurel Line was a train that was part of the Lackawanna and Wyoming Valley Railroad. Three of the postcards have been used and are postmarked 1913. One postcard is unused. The postcard featuring a view of the train in front of the Luzerne County Court House is from the railway itself and has the Laurel Line logo in the upper left corner of the message section. The postmark shows through two of the used cards. The stamp is missing from the other used card. All of the cards show smudges in the address and message sections. The card featuring a view of the W.B.& H. Station from the tracks of the Laurel Line has a number of crease marks and some corner wear.The other three have some light wear along the edges and at the tips of the corners.
