Vintage carbon steel chef knife blade length 10 inches tip to handle and the overall length is15.25+ inches. Handle is beautiful old rosewood held tight with three brass cutlers rivets. Slicer is a little over 8 inches and the overall length is 12.5 inches, If it is not also a Robeson it is comperable in terms of materials and quality. Nice rosewood handles with brass rivets.Condition is great both blades are about 95% full and have been taken care of well. These were etched with the maker mark when new which was easily scrubbed away and lost, but the chef knife is certainly a Robeson. In any case a nicely made old carbon steel chef knife, thin enough to zip through whatever gets in it's way but not cheap or wimpy, in an excellent size, if you are only used to 8 inch chef's knives you might be surprised how much easier it is to work with a larger 9 or 10 inch knife, the extra length only gets in the way if you cut on a tiny cutting board which barely accomodates chopping a single onion.
