Beautiful estate piece. I took ring to my local jeweler and is what he said. The ring is from the late 1890's to around 1910. Which sounds right to us. Marked 14 karat gold. White gold. Filligree or lacy victorian design. 14 kt. white gold with tiny amount of yellow gold design on sides. Jeweler tested and stone is genuine amethyst. Huge stone. He said stone has some scruff marks or tiny scratches which can be left alone or polished. Back of band is a little crooked. Told it should be re-shaped. Jeweler said that runs about $25.00. Size is approximately 7 1/2 . Back of ring is dusty. Ring needs to be cleaned. I will leave it to the buyer to clean. Has been stored in a drawer for years. Beautiful stunning ring. Very Victorian. No diamonds or other stones on ring. One of a kind.
