The original white, porcelain enamel dial is in great condition for its age, free form and chips or deep cracks and is still crisp and clear plus being fully signed. The small outer glass is in good condition as is the inner glass - acrylic. Moving on to the beautiful looking 10ct gold filled case, which was also made by Dennison and is clearly signed inside the case. I would class its condition to be very good for its age, with the expected light surface scratches and signs of wear consummate with a vintage timepiece. The inner dust cover has been personalized but as this is on the inside of the watch it is obviously not noticed, it could be removed by any good jeweller if you so wished but it is perfectly fine left as it is!! The watches approx size is 71mm from top bow/bottom case, 15mm thick and the diameter is 50.7mm Turning the watch over I note that the back lid is in lovely / excellent shape. Peeking inside I find a beautiful and high quality Thomas Russell mechanism which ticking away plus it winds (you have to push the crown in very slightly to wind) and sets smoothly. It is signed Swiss Made, Thos Rusell & Son Liverpool , Jewelled, Tempus Fugit. The inside of the dust cover reads:- English Make This Case Guaranteed To Wear 10 Years.
