This fan is probably 100 year old and is in amazing condition for its age. None of the metal looks damaged. The fan blades have no damage either. The brass tag on the motor says, Westinghouse style 315745A 120 volts 60 cycles serial number 2632395. Multi speed oscillating fan with 3 speeds. Fan is very heavy maybe 20 lbs. It has a 12" fan blade. This fan belonged to my Grandmother. My Grandmother said that her father bought the fan about 1905. T may be a date on the fan but I don't know w to look for it. I am selling the fan for my Father. I plugged the fan in and let it run on high speed for an hour. It seems to me like it is doing fine. It blows a very good breeze. It oscillates all the time while it runs. T is a brass knob that turns while the fan runs. I am not sure what the brass knob does. I moved the switch over about 1/4 inch and the fan was running in speed #2 a slower speed. I let it run in speed 2 for about 15 minutes. It seems to be doing fine. I moved the switch over another 1/4 inch to speed #3. Speed 3 seems to work fine too. The fan has a tilt adjustment. You can tilt is UP or DOWN to any angle you like in between. It looks like maximum tilt up or down is about 15 degrees. Fan blades are not metal. A fan collector told me this type of blade is very rare and makes it a more desirable collectors item. The metal part read more
