VINTAGE 14" GRISWOLD CAST IRON SKILLET 718-B Up for your bidding pleasure is this very large vintage 14" GRISWOLD CAST IRON SKILLET. This piece is in beautiful, clean, very good used condition with no cracks or warping. It has a fire ring and is incised on the bottom with the Griswold trade mark, CAST IRON SKILLET 14, GRISWOLD ERIE PA. U.S.A., 718 B. This piece measures 16" 3/8" across to the outsides of the pouring lips x 2 1/2" tall. As mentioned this cast iron skillet is in good used condition and has been very well cleaned and rubbed down with vegetable oil. All it needs is to be seasoned to which you put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 1 hour then wipe off excess oil. Now it is ready for use, reseason as necessary. This is a very nice vintage large skillet and will give years of use and also will make a wonderful addition to your vintage kitchen or cabin decor.
