Up for auction is a very beautiful Vintage Early 1940's Solid Shell 7" x 14" Slingerland Radio King Snare Drum. The Red Sparkle Covering is in Very Good condition and not faded for it's age (minimal scratches and scuffs). The chrome / nickel plating has the obvious pitting from age. One side of the clam shell throw off needs the lever and to be repaired or replaced (see pic # 8). I am including the piece / pieces that broke off that can be repaired (welded?). I am also including all of the original tension rods, snares and 3 extra lugs. The original "Stick Chopper" top hoop and bottom hoop are very good condition (no cracks) with typical wear. The internal muffler is original and functioning properly. PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICS VERY CAREFULLY WITH THE ZOOM FEATURE. I took as many pics as I could. THERE IS NO RESERVE!! Please check out my other items because I have a Red Sparkle Radio King Tom that goes with this snare up for auction. Please check my feedback. Paypal only please. !

The bearing edges on this drum have not been modified.
