Recently I obtained the estate of an elderly gentleman who collected many beautiful pieces of quality jewelry through out the years. Offered today is a magnificent piece from that collection. This men's custom made art nouveau inspired 14k yellow gold ring contains the figure of a nude woman with arms outstretched holding an oval purple stone that is bezel set. Although not checked, I believe the stone to be an amethyst. Age is unknown as the previous owner doesn't remember when he bought it. He just told me that he'd had it for many years. T are no markings but it has been professionally tested to be 14k. size is 10 3/4. bottom of shank is 4.00 mm. Total weight is 15.40 grams. Current appraisal 3/20/08 is included with purchase. Appraisal value is $1195.00 This exquisite and unusual piece will make a nice addition to your vintage ring collection and is well worth its weight in gold. This is the first piece in a large collection of vintage gold jewelry that I will be listing. Many in the art nouveau design. Keep watching.
