Offered for sale is a vintage, 14K solid yellow brooch , with diamonds, and emerald eye... Incredible fabrication!,,,, Stylized swimming duck, with a large pearl body,,, emerald eye,,, with diamond accent fea thers.... Diamond bow,,, safe to say a female!.... Not sure of the age,,,, was told made in Ne w York,,,, in 1970's... However you decide... No makers marks...14K,,, only stam p... De fin i tely a finely crafted piece... Description: The pin weighs 17.6 grams.... and measures just over 2 inches high, by 2 inches across.... The pearl, I believe to be salt water,,, natural, or cultured, not sure... Golden color,,, nice finish, no scratches,,,, measuring approx. 16 x 12.5mm.... The emeral d measures 4.5 x 2.5mm... secur ely set... A pretty green,,,, has typic al inclus ions common to emerald,,, with some surface imperfections... Scratches and pi ts... being sold as found, as is... 36 round single cut diamonds,,, white in color,,, SI quality, or better... Bead set,,,, Measuring approx. 1.5 to 1.8mm... approx. 1/3ct. total weight... The pin is assembled from several pieces of solid gold,,, with several solders,,,, and hand tooling as shown.... Pin back is white gold,,, as are the diamonds also set in white gold.... Pin and safety catch, work perfectly... A fun,,,, whimsical brooch,,, beautifully crafted,,, being sold as found,
