Vintage Ronson "PENCILITER" in original box and in excellent condition. This lighter is marked "1-20 14K GOLD FILLED", with a clockwisetwist of the bottom portion the pencil lead appears and by pulling downward on the pocket clip the cigarette lighter striker wheel is turned.The flint in the lighter has turned to powder and needs to be replaced, then with a little lighter fluid (not included) the wick will ignite in flame! The Penciliter has a few light scratches and a couple small dings, the largest of which in shown in the magnified picture below. Tis a pattern with a series of many finely engraved lines that run the length of the Penciliter giving it a very elegant look! The box is coveredon the outside with a light tan leather with the words, "RONSON PENCILITER" written in a burgandy color in on the front. The lid has a steeltan painted hinge and is lined with burgandy colored silk with the words, "RONSON WORLD'S GREATEST LIGHTER MADE IN U.S.A. 1/20 14K Gold Filled". The "1/20 14K Gold Filled" gold colored lettering is worn as is the material in that area. The bottom half of the box is lined with burgandy colored velvet that is molded to custom fit and handsomely display the Penciliter.
