This pretty Amethyst ring has been in my collection for many years. It is stamped with the marker's mark 'OB' for Ostby Barton (?) but I don't know exactly when it was made. Infact, I hadn't realised it had any marks until photographing it to list. A large, emerald cut natural Amethyst (tested on my Presidium Gem Tester and shows lovely angular, color zoning under the loupe) measuring roughly 10mm x 8mm is held in a delicate, white gold, filigree setting. The ring size is M-N (about a 7) - a good, average ring size. Stamped "14K" on the shank along with the initials OB and a Maltese Cross symbol. In excellent condition with some very light wear from use. No chips or scratches on the stone. A really vibrant purple stone!
