This is a wonderful Vintage 14K Solid GOLD Herringbone Chain/Necklace.This item was recently purchased from an Estate. This item measures about 18 3/8" long and it is about 3.6mm wide, and about 0.5mm thick.This item is marked 14KT ITALY Near the catch...see images.., and the tab on the catch is also marked 585 (585 is the international gold standard mark for 14K solid gold) This chain weighs about 8.6 grams!At todays gold price at about $895 an ounce, the SCRAP Gold Value in this chain is about $144.78!This auction is starting right around the SCRAP Value of the gold that this chain is made from...and Gold Continues to RISE...you can't go wrong! This item is in good vintage condition, please enlarge images to get a closer look at its condition.I can locate no dings/dents/kinks etc in the chain...t are some faint/fine surface scratches on the gold in some areas, though all very minor, and to be expected on vintage gold jewelry...see images.all in all, I would have to say that this item is in good vintage condition, with only very very slight signs of age and wear.
