VINTAGE 14K YELLOW GOLD DECO RING -FAUX OPAL Description This is a super ring with an old mounting that has Art Deco styling. It has a gorgeous faux opal cabochon. The ring came to us with this stone. One could elect to put something else in there, but we think it looks fabulous just as it is. GEMSTONE - faux opal cabochon GEMSTONE SIZE - approximately 9mm by 11mm CUT, SHAPE - oval cabochon METAL - tested 14K yellow gold - stamp has worn off this oldie RING WEIGHT - .11oz or 2.9gr MOUNTING - prong set SHANK DIMENSIONS - 1.5mm SIZE - 6 It can easily be resized by your jeweler. CONDITION - good, stone undamaged, light wear on band as would be expected on a vintage item In the 70's, millions of pieces were melted for their metal value. This one survived! Once again, metals prices have soared. Don't let this one go into the melting pot.This item has been cleaned and examined by our gemologist. We make every effort to describe our jewelry accurately.
