This is a super 1950's charm made of solid 14k yellow gold. It opens and closes to simulate the real thing, and has wonderful minute details, just like a real accordion. If you are already a collector of nice old charms, or are starting to collect, this is a good one to have. I don't see ones like this too often, and I see a lot of charms. It weighs 3.3 grams in total weight and is ready to wear. It measures 17mm in width. I know GOLD is high, and prices seem crazy, but just think back to when it was $450 an ounce and you stopped yourself from buying because you thought gold was too high, THEN! You could be kicking yourself, when gold gets to over $1200!! If you have been looking for one of these, this is being offered at a low starting price. If you read my feedbacks, you will see that I don't embellish my descriptions, and most buyers find the items better than described. Sometimes the pictures don't really do justice to jewelry items, but I try to always tell the truth about my items, that I list.
