Vintage Japan hand painted chalkware (15) piece set of Nativity figures - all measurements all width (at widest) x height: Mary 2" x 4" - Joesph 2 1/4" x 4" - baby Jesus 2" x 2" - angel 3" x 4" - shepard 2" x 5" - standing black Wise Man - 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" - kneeling black Wise Man 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" - white Wise Man 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" - donkey 3 7/8" x 3" - ox 4 7/8" x 2 1/4" - camel 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" - standing head down sheep 2 5/8" x 1 1/2" - stading head up sheep 2 1/2" x 2 1/8" - both laying down sheep 1 7/8" x 1 1/8". Each figure has "JAPAN" rubber stamped(?) to bottom - see pictures. Guessing early 1950's vintage - perhaps earlier. I believe this is a complete setJoesph will be in a plastic bag to keep the chip from being lost if it falls off in shipment. All figures will be wrapped in bubblewrap and put in a box. That box will go inside a larger box for additional protection during shipment. Smoke-free home. You will be happy with the packaging - check my feedback. INSURANCE NOT INCLUDED unless you request.
