Vintage 15th 19th Hussars Officer's Brass Collar Or Shoulder Badge Please note that the photographs show the badge as being larger than in reality. In brass. Comprising the initials XV.XIX.H for '15th/19th HUSSARS' (in this format and size, this badge would have been worn by an officer). There are two lugs to the back through which passes a split pin (the pin is a new one - not original to the badge). The badge measures approximately 43 mm in length, with each letter measuring approximately 10 mm high. The badge is un-cleaned and would benefit from a clean and polishto the front and to the back. To the front top rim, there is a bit of tarnish to part of the top of the letter 'X' (of IX) and to part of the top of the letter 'H' - showing in the photograph. The badge is ever so slightly mis-shapen. Each of the lugs to the back is slightly bent off the vertical and one of the lugs has been repaired and re-soldered, with obvious solder around the bottom of the lug and to the actual lug itself .
