This Thumbelina is the original wind-up doll who moves and stretches. She came to me in the early 1960's but unfortunately her clothes are long gone. She is in very good shape except that the plastic winding disk broke and was replaced by my innovative father with a wing-nut. Careful, it could be a choking hazard but for show purposes she works just fine. There is a smudge on her left arm but otherwise in very good shape. She was made before Ideal put tags on the soft body but has the imprint on the back of her neck. New picture uploaded with view of the back of the neck. It definitely has an imprint but I can read it. Maybe you will recognize the imprint.
