Welcome! Up for your consideration is a vintage 1800 Bradley & Hubbard adjustable hanging kitchen light sconce set. This magnificent sconce set is just totally unbelievable. It was appraised in May of this year at a value of $650.00. All measurements are approximate: The overall length of the set when the lantern is pulled in the down position is 47" from the top to the bottom of the hardware of the lantern's nest. When the lantern is adjusted all the way in the up position it measures 35" in length. The very top section has a 6" to 7" diameter. The middle section has a 10" diameter. The top of the glass globe has a 7 3/4" diameter and the bottom of the glass globe has a 14" diameter. The bottom section w the lantern's nest is measures 12 1/2" across and is 17" tall. The smoke diverter or the glass 'bell' has a 3 1/2" diameter and is 3 1/4" tall. The lantern is 12 1/2" tall and has a diameter at the base of 5 3/4". The set is in very good condition considering the age. The detail is unbelievable. The fancy scroll design is everyw on the hardware. T are several patent dates from the 1800's all over this set. The marking 'Bradley & Hubbard' is on the very top section. The photos show the light adjust in the lowest and highest position along with a middle position.
