is a wonderful vintage tin type in a wonderful old hinged case. The total size of this frame is about 2 1/2 inches across and is about 3 inches long. The picture is in a frame itself and sits inside the folding frame. Under the picture, in the frame it says Littlefield, Parsons & Co., Manufacurers of Dagurerreotype Cases L., P. & Co., are the sole Proprietros and only legal Manufactureres of Union Cases, with the Embracing Riveted Hinge Patented October 14, 1856, and April 21, 1857. I think the folding case is made of wood with red felt on inside of it. The picture is in a metal frame, that actually looks like copper, and it wraps around the picture with a glass front. T is some black spots on the under side of the glass and I am assuming it is coming from the tin type. This is just an absolutely wonderful old piece. This will make a nice addition to your collection. Don't miss out on this one. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN INVOICE FROM ME.
