Very beautiful pre-pro Pabst Blue Ribbon chromo-litho with what would appear to be its' original old frame with brass plaque. I believe this litho was done by noted artist A.F. King. Framed, this measures 26" X 22"., and the litho itself (not incuding mat) measures 16" X 12", but more probably under the matting.
I understand t were a few repros made in 1976 in a cheezy frame, but I can tell you t are no dot matrix to be found in this baby. I ran it by a prominent Rhode Island art dealer who professed it to be old and original even though we did not remove from frame. Under a loop, this looks exactly as it should. (Like paint on cork, if that rings a bell). I know I should have removed from frame and done further examination, but I just don't want to screw it up. Anyone is welcome to examine in person if they like.
As for condition, t are minor flaws and t that just can't be seen in the photos (or in person, for that matter). Small crinkles and t hardly detract from the piece. T are only two real issues I can see: One, t is an old water mark right across the white label of the left bottle, and two, t is a "bubble" just under the same bottle.
Now, the important stuff: Yes, I will guarantee the authenticity of this piece, absolutely and unequivocably. The art dealer who authenticated this is higly respected in his field and also said it was in a period frame with original gold matting.
I only charge actual shipping with no "handling" or packing fees, you only pay for the stamp. I can't quote shipping in advance as I don't pack until close of auction.
