This is a beautiful rare large vintage Solid 18K brooch , intricately carved in the form of a snake with green enamel on the head and a genuine ruby crown and a cultured pearl at the tip of the tongue .The top of the head , the enameled part moves slightly to imitate a live snake phenomenon along with the tongue , the artist also allowed this movement to make the piece life like .Its an amazing workmanship, the skin of the body is intricately etched in typical snake skin form just again lifelike .It is in perfect shape , no scratch or dent or ding or any loss of enamel and no missing stone .It weighs 23 gms and is inscribed 750 on the pin rod next to the hinge which is european mark for solid 18K , the hinge has a security lock mechanism that is easy to use and yet intricate!!. Considering the price of gold today this is a bargain , so and look at my feedback. It measures 2 and 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide , with a solid clasping mechanism and a security latch. Again No scrattch , no dents , NO DEFECTS of anykind. It weighs a considerable 23gms and feels heavy!!!Also it is HALLMARKED 750 in a cartouche which stands for 18K in Europe, it is seen with a loop close to the hinge , hard to photograph.. Shipping in the USA is 18 dollars for insured priority mail and delivery confirmation.International shipping is also available and will be quoted depending on location but should be about 50 dollars for express insured mail to anywhere but I will give you an exact quote if you win.
